《射雕英雄传》中“九阴白骨爪”怎么翻译？

“飞雪连天射白鹿，笑书神侠倚碧鸳”这14个字是指金庸先生的14部经典武侠，小强是那种比较肤浅的“金庸迷”，每次翻看《射雕英雄传》时，最大的兴奋点竟是郭靖看到恢复女装的黄蓉时的情节，看到这里肯定会回翻看郭靖第一次请“黄贤弟”吃大餐，还赠裘送马，以及郭靖搀扶重伤的黄蓉去求一灯大师救命的场景，当初《射雕英雄传》被翻译成英文，很多人并不看好，担心会翻译成“四不像”，小强也不例外。二话不说，直接上译文"Big Brother," Lotus began, "I want to ask you for something.

这一下郭靖更是大为意外，忙问：“兄弟，怎么？你身上不舒服吗？”

郭靖会了钞下楼，牵过红马，嘱咐道：“我把你送给了我的好朋友，你要好好听话，决不可发脾气。”拉住辔头，轻轻抚摸马毛，说道：“兄弟，你上马罢！”

I strongly believe that what makes some thing unique to a culture, doesn’t also make it a barrier, at least not necessarily. They can be precisely the thing that makes it stand out and you do well in translation.

我觉得一个作品的文化特质不会让翻译真正成为跨文化理解的障碍，却还有可能让这个作品更突出。
